The Athletic has live coverage of Lions vs. Panthers on 'Sunday Night Football.' This story was updated at 7:15 p.m. ET Sunday to incorporate the inactives for the Sunday night game. We get the first of the European games this week, when the Washington Commanders host the Indianapolis Colts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Naturally, the injury situation is pretty bleak. Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels is still recovering from a dislocation of his non-throwing elbow and was ruled out earlier in the week. Running back Rachaad White will also miss the game with a shoulder issue. With Daniels out, veteran backup QB Marcus Mariota gets another week at the controls of the Commanders' offense, coming off a three-touchdown performance against Seattle. Mariota's receiving corps, however, is not entirely healthy. The Athletic's Nicki Jhabvala reported that star receiver Terry McLaurin tweaked a hamstring on Friday and wasn't expected to face the Colts, a brutal development. He was ruled out Sunday morning and now receivers Stefon Diggs and Antonio Williams should see increased usage, as should tight end Chig Okonkwo in his return from injury. Hopefully fantasy managers have learned the lesson of the Jaylen Warren Dublin debacle of 2025 and took preventative measures before kickoff. As for Indianapolis, things aren't so complicated. Wide receiver Keenan Allen has been ruled out with a groin injury. Blast-from-the-past receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine was elevated from the practice squad, but he's not yet on the fantasy radar. With Allen sidelined, we're likely to see the passing offense further consolidate around WR Josh Downs and TE Tyler Warren. Last week, Downs, Warren and Allen combined to see 30 of Daniel Jones' 35 pass attempts. Sunday afternoon's slate is just as messy as the London appetizer, unfortunately. Here's a look at fantasy-relevant names who will be inactive in the 1 p.m. ET games: RB Breece Hall, NYJ (quad) - Hall is likely to be sidelined for multiple weeks, creating a huge opportunity for his super-sized backup, RB Braelon Allen. WR Adonai Mitchell, NYJ (finger) - Very difficult to play receiver in the NFL without working fingers. His absence sets up WR Garrett Wilson and TE Kenyon Sadiq for potential monster performances. TE Mason Taylor, NYJ (thumb) - Again, Sadiq is the big beneficiary here and he's coming off a breakout game against Detroit. QB Caleb Williams, CHI (hamstring) - Backup QB Tyson Bagent is in line to start this week. Let's not panic about our Bears receivers, because Bagent has previously demonstrated command of the offense. All clear, except of course A.J. Brown is on IR, leading to an unfortunate number of targets for WRs Mack Hollins and DeMario Douglas. Another uncomplicated game involving upper-tier offenses. Enjoy the points. It only seems as if WR Marvin Harrison Jr. has been inactive. He's playing, we swear. Veteran QB Jameis Winston remains behind center for the Giants. TE Terrance Ferguson, LAR (ankle) - Ferguson was placed on IR this week and will miss at least four games. Of course the Rams do not have a shortage of tight ends; Tyler Higbee is coming off an 8-catch performance. Also, star WR Puka Nacua returns to action this week. WR DeVonta Smith, PHI (hamstring) - Smith couldn't practice this week and was ruled out well in advance of gametime. WRs Makai Lemon and Dontayvion Wicks should see plenty of action; both have WR3/flex fantasy appeal. Let's hope they stop running those terrible screens to Lemon that lose yardage every time. TE Dallas Goedert, PHI (knee) - TE Zach Ertz was elevated from the practice squad, although he was only minimally involved in Monday's loss at Chicago. QB Baker Mayfield, TB (thumb) - This is one of the most impactful injuries in fantasy, as it leads to a downgrade of every Bucs skill player. Undrafted rookie QB Jalon Daniels will start for Tampa Bay. WRs Emeka Egbuka and Chris Godwin are tough to trust until Daniels demonstrates competence. All the worrisome questionable tags resolved in our favor. Baltimore WR Zay Flowers (hamstring) is not expected to have any limitations. This one looks clean. WR Nico Collins returns from a hamstring injury, so you are clear to drop any other Houston pass-catchers. Newly acquired CB Joey Porter Jr. makes his debut for Dallas, a potential complication for Collins. It's ugly in the late afternoon games, too. Here are the 4 p.m. ET inactives: RB De'Von Achane, MIA (knee) - Achane will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his ACL. RBs Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon II should find themselves in a timeshare, but both should be avoided in this week's horrible matchup. WR Caleb Douglas, MIA (ankle) - WRs Malik Washington and Chris Bell will lead Miami's receiving corps in a stay-away matchup. WR Justin Jefferson, MIN (ankle) - There's no replacing a receiver of Jefferson's quality. WR Jordan Addison gets a huge boost in the ranks, but let's not get too cute with any other Vikings pass-catchers. We're looking good here, despite a last-minute twist that saw TE Brock Bowers added to the injury report with an illness. Bowers was unstoppable in his return from injury last week and is both active and expected to play against the Chiefs. San Francisco WR Mike Evans (ribs) was the big unknown in this one. He will attempt to play through a painful injury while also dealing with CB Patrick Surtain in coverage. Not an ideal setup. The Niners have plenty of other trustworthy weapons, however. RB Jadarian Price, SEA (chest) - Price was placed on IR this week, so we won't see him again for another month. RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) just returned to practice, but he's not ready for game action just yet. RBs Emanuel Wilson and George Holani will share the backfield work on Sunday. WR Jalen Coker (quad), Xavier Legette, CAR (knee) - Coker has been ruled out after suffering a quad injury in the fourth quarter of a Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns. In a matchup with the Lions considered to be one of the biggest shootouts of the week, the absence of Coker and Legette means the Panthers will have to lean more heavily on WR Brycen Tremayne and TE Darren Waller, in addition to Tetairoa McMillan.
